Dallas lies in a popular, semi-rural setting on the edge of Boat of Garten in the Cairngorms National Park. The house sits in beautiful wooded grounds overlooking the Strathspey Steam Railway line, the golf course and beyond to framed views of the Cairngorm Mountains. The house, which was built in the late 1930s, provides well laid out family accommodation retaining many original features, however, it would now benefit from some further modernisation. The welcoming reception hall with its central arch and wooden flooring leads to the main rooms on the ground floor. The sitting room has an open fire and gives access to the sun room which runs the length of the front of the house and takes advantage of the south facing setting. The dining room leads off here and beyond this is the dining kitchen. A corridor leads from the hall to the ground floor bedroom. The three first floor bedrooms have lovely views over the grounds and one benefits from an en suite bathroom and another has an adjacent dressing room or fifth bedroom.
Within the grounds is a chalet and this along with other outbuildings and timber sheds dotted throughout the grounds provide delightful sitting areas and useful storage.
