Mossilee Crescent lies in a popular residential location on the southern edge of Galashiels. The elevated position gives the house views of Buckholm Hill and William Law to the north and Meigle Hill and Mossilee Hill to the south and west.

Galashiels is a popular town in a reasonably central location within the Borders. It has taken on the role of commercial capital of the region and benefits from a broad range of services and shops (including 2 major supermarkets) and a wide variety of recreational and sporting facilities. There are several primary schools and a secondary school within easy reach and part of Heriot Watt University is located in the town.

The Borders General Hospital and Scottish Borders Council headquarters are both easily accessible and the surrounding countryside, which is noted for its scenic beauty, offers superb opportunities for horse riding, walking, cycling and fishing amongst other activities.

Galashiels has excellent road links with Edinburgh and the north of England and there is a regular train service between the town and Edinburgh.

9 Mossilee Crescent is a storey mid terrace house built in approximately 1970. The main walls are of cavity brick construction with external render and benefit from cavity wall insulation.

The accommodation has been modernised in recent years. One particularly fine feature is the upgrade of the kitchen / breakfast room. New wall and floor units have been installed to provide an up to date and bright room. The modernisation also included the creation of sliding patio doors leading into the rear garden plus upgrading the double glazing and central heating.

To the front of the house is a decorative front garden. This has been thoughtfully landscaped to create a garden with year round interest whilst being relatively easy to maintain.

The rear garden is fully enclosed and is laid out in three terraces which are decked and railed to provide a low maintenance space. To top terrace backs onto grass fields.
