Sandholm lies north east of the village of Newcastleton on the B6357 close to the junction where the Hermitage Water joins the Liddel Water.

Newcastleton, known locally as Copshaw Holm is nestled in the valley of Liddesdale, gateway to the Scottish Borders. The historic village, with a population of approximately 850, has excellent local facilities and shops including a primary school, bank and post office. Secondary schools are located in Langholm and Hawick.

The area is surrounded by hills and forests with fabulous scenery, abundant wild life and historical sites perfect for exploring. Newcastleton has been officially recognised as Scotland’s first bike friendly village with some of the 7stanes trails starting just outside the village. Keilder Water and Forest Park is nearby and offers a range of land and water based leisure pursuits.

2 Sandholm is a charming traditional semi-detached cottage. The single storey stone built house was built in the late 19th Century.
