Milton Cottage is a charming detached stone built cottage which lies under a pitched slate roof. The property was originally four workers cottages, which have been combined and further extended to create a spacious family home on one level.
The property is entered from the front, via an entrance vestibule, leading into a welcoming dining hall, with a window to the front. Located off the dining hall are the sitting room, which boasts a log burner and windows to the front and rear, and a modern fitted kitchen which is complete with integrated fridge, electric double oven and microwave and gas hob. There is space for a table and chairs, ideal for breakfasting, in addition to a useful utility and laundry room complete with pantry. A newly fitted conservatory is situated off the kitchen and offers a fantastic and peaceful outlook over the garden.
A hallway leads off the dining hall and provides access to flexible and well proportioned accommodation, which includes: six double bedrooms, 2 of which are currently being used as studies, a family bathroom, a shower room and a separate cloakroom/W.C. There is an additional door to the front of the property which gives access to the hallway should someone wish to create a separate granny annex or space for teenagers or guests.
Externally the property sits within a generous garden plot, which extends to approximately 0.64 acres, and offers a particularly flexible and private outdoor space ideal for children and pets. To the front of the property there is a driveway with space for at least 2 cars and a detached garage. To the rear of the property is a mature, landscaped garden, mainly laid to lawn, interspersed with a mixture of well established trees, plants and shrubs, an ornamental pond and vegetable beds. A patio area offers space for entertaining and alfresco dining.
Outbuildings: There is a stone log shelter, garden shed and greenhouse within the garden grounds.
