Newmains Farmhouse sits in an elevated position to the north of the hamlet of Tealing, surrounded by the beautiful Angus countryside. The county offers numerous opportunities for outdoor pursuits such as walking and mountain biking. The Sidlaws sit to the north with the Balkello Community Woodland providing excellent opportunities for walking and hacking. For golfers, there are many local courses including Downfield at Dundee, Rosemount at Blairgowrie and Championship courses at Carnoustie and St Andrews which are both within a 30 minute car journey. Shooting fishing and stalking can all be taken locally. The ski slopes of Glenshee can be reached in approximately an hour and there are numerous beaches along the east coast.
There is excellent access on to the A90 with Dundee being a mere 10 minute drive away.
