State schooling is available locally within the village with private schooling being provided at St. Leonards in St. Andrews and also the High School of Dundee. There are railway stations in Cupar, Markinch and Kirkcaldy with Edinburgh airport approximately a one hour drive to the south. DIRECTIONS

Heading west from the centre of Anstruther take the A917 making for Pittenweem. Shortly after leaving the centre of the village turn left onto the esplanade where the main road turns sharply to the right at the hall. Once onto the esplanade 11 High Street West is then on the right hand side.
