Just a short walk from the beach, 115 Main Street is located in the heart of the sought after East Neuk village of Lower Largo. Easily accessible from the central belt, the village also offers swift access to both St. Andrews and Cupar. A good mix of local shops and services are available within the village with a wider offering on hand in Leven and Cupar, Fife’s bustling county market town. To the north-east lies St. Andrews, the ancient and historic university town world renowned as the Home of Golf with a superb cosmopolitan mix of shops, restaurants, pubs and the like. The pretty East Neuk villages of Elie, Earlsferry, Anstruther, St Monans and Pittenweem are just a short drive to the east. The breathtaking coastline and countryside around Lower Largo is home to a wide array of wildlife and, for the outdoor enthusiast, offers easy access to an excellent range of pursuits including sailing, walking cycling, riding and golf with many highly rated courses within comfortable reach including the numerous excellent courses in and around St. Andrews, where the Old Course plays regular host to the British Open. Challenging shooting and fishing may be taken locally whilst the popular Fife Coastal Path runs very close by. In terms of days out the wide open spaces of the Lomond Hills are well within striking distance along with several excellent sandy beaches including the fine beach at Lower Largo itself! of Tarvit mansion house. There are main line railway stations in Cupar, Leuchars, Markinch and Ladybank with Edinburgh airport less than a one hour drive to the south. The busy regional airport at Dundee also provides a good range of short haul flights.
