The towns of Cupar and Newburgh provide good day to day facilities including supermarkets, medical centres, primary schools and secondary school, swimming pool, leisure centres and library. There are excellent
independent schools in the area. Perth, some 16 miles to the west, provides a comprehensive range of services and facilities whilst Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee are all within a comfortable distance.
Edinburgh airport is about an hour from the property, whilst there are railway stations in Perth, Dundee and Cupar.
With spectacular views and a super large garden Fliskmillan cottage is a real gem, offering deceptively spacious and very comfortable four bed family accommodation. The house is of an attractive painted harled exterior under a slate roof, with oil fired central heating and double glazing to most rooms. At the heart of the house, with cosy
Aga, is the superb open plan kitchen/dining room. The sitting room benefits from a wood burning stove with two bedrooms, family bathroom and bright hall completing the ground floor. Upstairs there are two bedrooms along with shower room.
Ground Floor: Hall, open plan kitchen/dining room, sitting room, two bedrooms, family bathroom
First Floor: Two bedrooms, shower room, landing.
GARDEN AND GROUNDS
Fliskmillan Cottage stands in a generously proportioned garden, essentially laid to grass with an attractive mix of plants, trees and shrubs as well as an orchard. There is a polytunnel and timber garden shed.
From the main A92 that runs through Fife, take the turning for Luthrie and follow the minor road through Luthrie and on, passing Brunton. Continue on with Normans Law on your left and Fliskmillan Cottage is then on the right hand side after a short distance.
