Bath Castle lies at the edge of Bath Moor plantation in the rural settlement of Bogside which is north of the outstanding conservation village of Culross. The Royal Burgh of Culross (5 miles) dates back to the 16th century with winding streets and restored historical buildings, such as Culross Palace. Both Alloa and Dunfermline are within easy reach and provide most daily requirements with shopping centres, leisure facilities and a range of professional services and communication links. For more comprehensive services Edinburgh and Glasgow are both within easy driving distance.
The castle is a short drive from the M90 which provides fast access to the north and south. Glasgow is 32 miles to the south via the Kincardine Bridge. Built in the 17th century, Bath Castle is a charming B listed property built on a rocky outcrop and constructed from stone with harled elevations beneath a pantile roof with crow-stepped gables The castle is widely considered to be one of the smallest in Scotland. It was restored in the mid 1980s with a grant from Historic Scotland and has been further modernised in recent years.
The kitchen/breakfast room offers a good range of bespoke and hand crafted floor and wall units by Crannog with Neff appliances, a walk-in larder cupboard and an LPG gas fired Rayburn. A stable door provides access out to a west facing terrace as well as bringing additional light into the room. Also on the ground floor is a reception room with an exposed stone arched hearth.

From Forth Road Bridge take Exit 1 onto A985 towards Kincardine. Continue on the A985 past Crombie and over the roundabout towards Kincardine. After 2 miles turn right on to the road sign posted Bogside. At the end of the road turn left on to the A907, driving into Bogside. Turn right upon leaving Bogside, signposted for Della Quarry. Follow the concrete road for approximately 0.7 mile until reaching Bath Castle on the left.
