There are railway stations in Cupar, Leuchars, Ladybank and Markinch. Edinburgh airport is about one hour to the south, and there are direct buses to both Edinburgh and Glasgow airports. The regional airport at Dundee offers a selection of short haul flights.
On 11 April 2017 Fife Council approved an application (No: 16/03043/PPP) for Planning permission in principle for the erection of a single storey dwellinghouse and associated car parking at the Land To South Of Belmore, Westfield Road, Cupar, Fife. It is understood that the accommodation could be increased by building accommodation into the roof space, but this would be subject to all consent and planning permission and purchasers would need to make their own enquiries in this regards.
