Hawthornbank is a fantastic spacious family house offering wonderful generous living space in a very popular village close to St Andrews. A short distance to the east lies the ancient and historic cosmopolitan university town of St. Andrews, renowned world wide as the Home of Golf and with its excellent range of specialist shops and facilities. To the south-west Fifes main county market town of Cupar has a very good offering of local services and a regular Farmers Market whilst no more than fifteen minutes to the north, the resurgent city of Dundee is already home to Scotts ship RSS Discovery and will shortly be the location for the new V & A centre. Surrounding Balmullo is some particularly fine Scottish countryside with a lovely mix of farmland, woodland, hill and river.
