There is an electricity supply on site as well as a mains water supply. There is also a private water supply to the southern field. Under local planning regulation (H3 – Housing in the Countryside) there is the possibility that planning consent could be obtained, subject to the usual formal applications and consents, to build within the land as a property “essential for the needs of agriculture or other business requiring a rural location” and / or “a single house within a remote rural area which is well related to its landscape setting, is of an appropriate scale and design, and would provide a low carbon house and lifestyle”.
