Rowallan is a charming property, from the moment you open the front door and step in to the hall. The property has a warm welcoming feeling, and would make a lovely first home or family home. The décor is modern and tasteful throughout, a multi fuel burning stove in the Sitting Room sits under a single solid oak beam mantelpiece which complimented by the original decorative cornice and ceiling rose, giving the property a good balance of original features and contemporary. The Kitchen opens directly in to the Dining Area which has French Doors opening on to the patio, and fitted cupboards along the rear wall providing an abundance of storage. In the Kitchen a Flavel range cooker, with two ovens, storage drawer, five ring electric hob and warming zone, provide excellent cooking facilities, and there is space for a large American style fridge freezer.
Rowallan sits under a slate roof, with the exception of the Dining Area which has a mono pitched roof covered with non-traditional metal profile sheeting. Oil fired central heating is provided by an external boiler, installed in 2018 and still under warranty, and the property is double glazed throughout. A large area of floored loft space, with restricted head room, can be accessed from Bedroom 3.
