SITUATION
The towns of Lockerbie and Dumfries are both within about 12 miles of the property. Lockerbie is ideally located for commuting north and south, situated only a short distance from the M74 motorway link, with excellent rail links also to the North and South. The town provides a range of individual shops, supermarkets, primary school as well as Lockerbie Academy, small hotels, mainline train station, and health services.
Dumfries is the principal town and administrative centre for the district offering a wide variety of facilities. It has a range of services, shops, supermarkets, retail outlets and farm shops and the Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary. The City of Carlisle provides a wide range of excellent retail services and other amenities.

The area provides a vast range of opportunities for the outdoor sporting enthusiast with the ability to take shooting locally, a variety of fishing on the Rivers Nith, Annan or Border Esk, sailing on Castle Loch at Lochmaben with Annandale Sailing Club, and wild fowling on the Solway Firth.
