Ardgiffen lies in a rural location in North Ayrshire situated approximately 3 miles from Beith. There are day to day services available in Beith which also has a primary school. Dunlop (about 2.7 miles) and Glengarnock (about 4.5 miles) have regular train services to Glasgow and beyond.
