From the A77 Whitletts roundabout at Ayr, take the B743 to Mauchline. At the traffic lights in the centre of Mauchline turn left then immediately right onto the B743 Sorn Road. At Sorn Castle, turn left on to the B7037, proceed along this road for about 3 miles. Turn right onto a minor public road passing Barsparroch and Tongue Farm and continue to Bogend Farm on the left hand side.

From Glasgow, take the M77 towards, Kilmarnock. At Junction 6 (signposted Galston, A77) slip left. Go through Galston and follow the signs for Sorn. Continue along this road passing the cottages at Sornhill. After passing Meikleyard, take the second minor public road on the left passing Barsparroch and Tongue Farm and continue to Bogend Farm on the left hand side.
