Kilgrammie Cottage is a charming country cottage set in peaceful countryside outside the village of Dailly. Dailly is a rural village with some local services and a newly constructed primary school. Nearby Brunston Castle has an excellent restaurant as well as an 18 hole golf course and there are some lovely walks in the locality known as The Dailly Trails.
The cottage is located about 5 miles outside the seaside town of Girvan which has a good range of local shops, supermarkets and a community hospital. There is both primary and secondary schooling in Girvan with private schooling and a wider range of high street shops, bars and restaurants in Ayr (18 miles). The railway station in Girvan provides regular services to Glasgow and Stranraer and Prestwick Airport operates regular flights to many UK and European destinations.
Kilgrammie Cottage is a superb country cottage which has been renovated and extended to create a good sized family home. The accommodation is on one level and enters the kitchen which is open plan to the living and dining room. The kitchen is a bright room fitted with an excellent range of wall and base units and has a royal blue Rayburn stove. The utility room is located adjacent. There are three good sized bedrooms. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and walk in wardrobe and there is an additional family bathroom and a shower room. A study completes the accommodation.
GARDENS AND LAND
The gardens of Kilgrammie Cottage are south facing and are a blaze of seasonal colour. A well tended lawn is bordered by mature trees and shrubs including Azaleas, Magnolia and Rose bushes and there are Apple and Pear trees. In addition there are raised beds for growing vegetables.
Kilgrammie Cottage has a well maintained timber stable block with two loose boxes, a tack room and a feed room. The stables are provided with light and power. Grazing is provided in two small paddocks.
