Mid Fullwood enjoys a tranquil, rural location outside Stewarton, overlooking its garden and 12 acres of land, with far reaching views towards the Firth of Clyde and Ailsa Craig. Despite its rural location, the property is just a few miles from the M77 and a twenty minute drive from Glasgow city centre.
Stewarton is a popular town with a bustling centre and a variety of shops including Sainsburys supermarket, butchers, bakery and deli as well as a number of coffee shops and restaurants. A wider variety of high street shops are available in Kilmarnock (7 miles) or Silverburn Shopping Centre. There is a regular rail service to Glasgow Central from Stewarton and Glasgow Airport is just a thirty minute drive.
Mid Fullwood was built in 2014 and is a modern, well presented detached country house. The accommodation is formed around a spacious and welcoming reception hall with double height ceiling and a galleried landing. Each room is light and generously proportioned many with double aspect windows taking full advantage of the country views. The kitchen is the hub of the house, accessed through double doors from the hall, and fitted with an excellent range of wall and base units. An Elan Rangemaster and Belfast sink add a farmhouse twist and are complimented with granite worktops and Travertine tiled flooring. Steps lead down to a family room with double doors which open to a large elevated area of decking - bringing the outdoors in.
The drawing room is a lovely formal room with double aspect windows and a deep chimney breast housing a log burning stove. A dining room is sensibly located adjacent to the kitchen and there is also a TV room or 4th bedroom if required. The master bedroom is located on the ground floor and has an en suite shower room and a dressing room. The utility room has a door to the garden with a wet room adjacent and a large walk in cupboard. There is a family bathroom on the ground floor. Two spacious bedrooms and a shower room are located on the first floor. Both bedrooms have double aspect windows ensuring they take full advantage of the country views.
GARDENS AND LAND
The gardens of Mid Fullwood extend to approximately an acre and are interspersed and sheltered by mature trees. There is a good area for parking at the front which is bounded by the original dry stone wall. A gate leads into the fields directly from the drive ensuring ease of unloading horses or livestock. An expanse of lawn curves around the house and is overlooked by an elevated decked terrace with hot tub and uninterrupted views.
About 12 acres of grazing land extends away from the house down to a picturesque burn marking at the boundary. The land is well fenced and there is a timber stable block with stabling for two.
