The Kemnay Beat 3 on The River Don comprises 1 mile of right bank fishing for salmon and sea trout including 12’ of riparian ownership thus ensuring the brown trout rights. The Beat lies in a slightly steeper section of the lower/ middle Don before the River reaches the plains below Inverurie. There is a definite 20 to 30 meter wide channel between well-consolidated banks with no conflicting livestock grazing. The Beat offers a good variety of water ranging from wide, fast flowing rapids to deep, slow pools. The bank has been maintained in good condition, making the riverside path very accessible thus all areas are easily fished from the bank.
The salmon and sea trout season runs from 11 February to 31 October; the brown trout season is 15 March to 6 October.

Kemnay Beat 3 is situated approximately 1/2 mile from Kemnay, 3 miles from Inverurie, 10 miles from Aberdeen.
