DIRECTIONS
From Aberdeen, travel along the A944 toward Alford. After passing through Dunecht, continue past the turn off to Sauchen and a short distance ahead turn left signposted ‘Corsindae’. Continue on this road for approx. 1 mile and then turn right up the private estate road, signposted Muirton Lodge. Continue again on this road for some distance, crossing the small bridge over the Milton Burn, keeping right past Muirton Farm and onto Muirton Lodge up to the left.

SITUATION
Muirton Lodge is located in the rural community of Midmar which lies to the West of Aberdeen, set in beautiful rolling countryside. There is an abundance of wildlife making it a popular location for those looking to enjoy peace, quiet and the freedom that the great outdoors provides, yet it is only 18 miles from Aberdeen and its city amenities. Midmar is equidistant to the three thriving towns of Westhill, Inverurie and Banchory, all of which provide excellent retail, sport and leisure facilities. Midmar, and Muirton Lodge in particular has door step access to many lovely walks, be they short, long or adventurous, by streams, through woodland, on road or track. All in all, an excellent resource for walking, cycling, horse riding and dog owners.

Midmar has its own Primary School, with Secondary Education catered for at Alford Academy, and has a busy community life centring on the school, the village hall and the church.
