Travel west through the village of Alford on the A944
for approximately 7 miles. Turn left onto the A97
signposted for Kildrummy & Strathdon and continue on
this road for 9 miles passing Kildrummy Castle and turn
left signposted for 'Ballater & Braemar' which ensures
you remain on the A97. Following this road for approx.
2.5 miles, turn right signposted 'Ardgeith Fishery ¾
miles' and continue for approx. 0.5 miles. Then turn left
sign posted 'Ardgeith Fishery ¼ miles'. Continue on this
road for approx. 1.3 miles and on the left hand side you
will see a private track with house name 'Clashnettie'
and Tom na wan' Turn left down the track and continue
for a short distance and you will find Allathumpach on

From Aboyne continue on the A93 towards Dinnet.
At Dinnet turn right onto A97 for 9 miles. Turn left
signposted 'Ardgeith Fishery ¾ miles' and continue for
approx. 0.5 miles. Then turn left sign posted 'Ardgeith
Fishery ¼ miles'. Continue on this road for approx. 1.3
miles and on the left hand side you will see a private
track with house name 'Clashnettie' and Tom na wan'
Turn left down the track and continue for a short
distance and you will find Allathumpach on the right
