There are a range of excellent shopping facilities, Tesco supermarket, highly regarded primary and secondary schools and a wide range of sporting and recreational facilities available including golf courses, a leisure centre, swimming pool and fishing on the River Dee.
Aberdeen City is some 18 miles, and provides all the leisure, recreational and entertainment facilities expected from the oil capital of Europe. It also provides good transport links with a mainline railway station and is host to an airport providing both domestic and international flights.
Tucked away in the heart of the village of Banchory, Arbeadie Hall was formerly the Church Hall of the East Church of Banchory and, following its conversion, received the Kincardine & Deeside District Council Design Award in 1994. This apartment occupies the entire ground floor of Arbeadie Hall with a private self-contained entrance to the front and there are only two other properties within the granite building.
The accommodation comprises vestibule, large reception hall with space for dining and a beautiful south facing lounge with doors opening on the private balcony. The impressive dining kitchen has a full height ceiling creating a large and versatile room whilst a striking large feature window with double doors opens onto the private terrace. Also with a door opening onto the garden terrace, the conservatory is a very sunny room with French doors and is very much enjoyed throughout the year. The master bedroom is exceptionally spacious, has built in storage and large en-suite bathroom including Jacuzzi bath. Bedroom two is equally large with built in wardrobes and finally bedroom 3 is also a double with built in wardrobes. The main bathroom has a three piece suite and there is a separate cloakroom adjacent to the kitchen. The very handy utility room is a great working space with storage, space for appliances and sink.
There is parking immediately to the front of the property and the single garage has an up and over door, power, light and work bench with water tap. Stairs lead directly to the front door and there is the very private garden terrace. A path does lead round the rear where there is a private elevated grass lawn with mature plants and shrubs. A wonderful open south facing view of the Deeside can be enjoyed from this elevated area of garden. A private secure store room measuring 10.0 x 6.0 also has power and light.
