The move is something of a homecoming for Jennifer who not only grew up in Edinburgh but began her career with CKD Galbraith in their Edinburgh office over five years ago. Now an Associate with the firm, she was previously based in CKD Galbraith's Perth office where she successfully handled sales across Perthshire and Stirlingshire, making particular inroads into the Highland Perthshire market.
Jennifer said: My background in selling prime property in rural and urban markets in addition to the well-established and highly experienced team already in place mean that we are ideally placed to provide a fully comprehensive service to clients in both the town and country."
Jennifer is supported by a strong estate agency team at CKD Galbraith Edinburgh. Andrew Jarvie and Lorna Donaldson are both experienced in the City market while James Carnegy-Arbuthnott, James Freeman and Sheila Donaldson bring crucial local knowledge to the rural property markets of the Lothians and Peeblesshire markets selling a wide range of properties including farms, fisheries and estates.
The Edinburgh residential team have reported that they continue to see a return to competitive closing dates resulting in offers in excess of the Home Report valuations throughout 2014. There has also been a very recent increase in properties coming onto the market in order to avoid the April stamp duty changes.
