Hat-trick Letting As CKD Galbraith Creates Full House In Edinburgh

25 November 2011

CKD Galbraith has let three office suites, totaling 1,976 sq ft and a fully let property at 23 Castle Street, Edinburgh.

The lettings were completed on behalf of landlord the Royal Edinburgh Repository and Self Aid Society.

The new tenants at the three-storey townhouse property are Applecross Creation Ltd, The Web Foundry and sole practice solicitor Damir Duheric.

Web design and marketing agency The Web Foundry have taken 728 sq ft on the first floor on a two-year lease.

They have been joined by developers Applecross Creation Ltd, taking 728 sq ft on the second floor on a 5-year lease and Damir Duheric, taking 520 sq ft on the third floor for one year.

Located between Princes Street and George Street, the city’s two main retail streets, 23 Castle Street is a mid terraced stone townhouse providing traditional, cellular office space.

Each suite is equipped with its own tea preparation facilities, WC and shower. The building also benefits from two secure parking spaces at the rear of the property on Rose Street North Lane.

Sebastian Findlay of marketing agent CKD Galbraith said: “In these competitive times, such a high supply of office space not only on the same street but also within the city centre means offering flexible rents to attract quality occupiers. We knew this property had good quality suites that needed little work before tenants moved in, so we’re delighted to have delivered for the client in achieving a fully let townhouse on Castle Street.”
