Cottages & Castles Secure Alliance With The National Trust For Scotland
Cottages & Castles have formed an unprecedented alliance with the National Trust for Scotland (NTS).
Cottages & Castles have formed an unprecedented alliance with the National Trust for Scotland (NTS) which will make some of the country's most prestigious and historical properties available to a much larger market.
The National Trust for Scotland's portfolio of self-catering holiday properties, ranging from cottages to grand architectural homes and castles in some of the most beautiful and scenic locations, will now be accessible to thousands of holidaymakers who regularly visit Scotland with Cottages & Castles.
Cottages & Castles is Scotland's largest specialist self-catering lettings agency and the alliance with the National Trust for Scotland will introduce the charity to many holidaymakers who have no previous experience of the conservation charity.
The deal has led to Cottages & Castles, run by CKD Galbraith, adding some of Scotland’s most desirable properties to its portfolio and enhancing the range of self-catering holiday accommodation available.
Sue Bourne, Manager of Cottages & Castles said: “We are delighted to be working with the National Trust for Scotland and proud to be associated with such a great charity. We offer a wide range of self-catering holiday accommodation throughout Scotland from cosy cottages for two to large country house and Scottish castles, so it is a great privilege to enhance our offering and introduce some of the Trust’s famous properties to our large client base of potential holiday makers.”
Anne Campbell, National Holidays Manager for the National Trust of Scotland, said: “Our new link-up with Cottages & Castles is a fantastic opportunity to be associated with a leading name in the Scotland-wide tourism industry. Given the reputation of Cottages & Castles, I am delighted to be opening up our fantastic range of properties to a wider market of potential visitors to Scotland. As a charity, the money raised goes back into the upkeep of the properties. The potential to increase occupancy rates and thus raise more funds through this partnership is an extremely exciting prospect.”
