Keynote Speaker: Richard Lochhead
To celebrate the third anniversary of the opening of CKD Galbraith's Elgin office, we are delighted to host a seminar to be held at Johnstons of Elgin to review matters affecting rural property owners in the coming year.
As Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs and the Environment, Richard Lochhead will speak on a range of issues affecting rural Scotland.
Sarah Tyson of CKD Galbraith's Rural and Energy Departments will run through financing options for farmers and landowners, latest renewable energy developments and other key themes for today's property owners.
Gordon McConachie, our agribusiness advisor, will speak on SRDP funding from a local perspective, the relevance of the Cairngorms Monitor Farm to local producers and, of course, the pending CAP reforms.
Rod Christie of our Sales and Valuation team will briefly discuss property values and the outlook across the various sectors across 2012.
The talks are likely to last about 60 minutes with an opportunity for questions from the floor thereafter.
