Aaron joined Galbraith in 2013. He can assist with all aspects of sales and is responsible for lettings and management services. Aaron is a member of the National Association of Estate Agents.
Alan joined Land Factor in 1981 which merged with Galbraith in 2019. He works as a Land Agent within our Hexham Office. He manages Rural Estates throughout the North East of England.
Alex has been an active surveyor and estate agent in the Scottish Borders since 1992, initially with John Sale. He manages the Galbraith Kelso and Galashiels offices and is an RICS Registered Valuer.
Alice joined Galbraith in 2017 and works as a Rural Surveyor within our Ayr Office. Working throughout south west Scotland, Alice predominantly undertakes valuation work for a variety of purposes as well as carrying out a wide range of professional rural consultancy including utility work and rural sales.
Alison is based in the Edinburgh office. As Head of Finance she is responsible for all aspects of Galbraith’s own financial reporting, financial systems, VAT and payroll.
Alistair undertakes rural valuations and AMC Agency through our Stirling office. Having been brought up on a dairy and sheep farm in Central Scotland, he has a sound knowledge of agriculture and business. Alistair has specialised in sporting estate management as well as agriculture throughout his career.
Amy joined Galbraith in early 2018 as a Sales Negotiator for our Aberdeen office. With several years’ varied experience in estate agency, Amy is a key member of staff specialising in the sales of rural and residential property. Amy is a qualified member of the National Association of Estate Agents.
Annie joined Galbraith in February 2014 and completed her APC in November 2016. She is part of the Rural team based in the Perth office and carries out a variety of management and compensation work as well as other professional consultancy work and valuations.
Athole joined Land Factor in 1986 which merged with Galbraith in 2019. He is a Partner, Chartered Forester and Head of Forestry for the firm based in our Edinburgh and Penrith Offices. Working throughout Northern England and Scotland, he carries out forestry and rural land management as well as purchase and sales of woodland and forest properties, valuations and forestry project co-ordination. He also has interests in renewables and minerals.
Bob has been closely involved in the property market around Ayrshire, Glasgow and south-west Scotland for the last 20 years. He is responsible for sales, lettings, farm sales, valuations and other residential and rural property services provided by the Ayr office.
Calum is responsible for the Galbraith’s Energy Department which serves a diverse range of clients from major plc utility companies to private individuals looking to benefit from renewable energy incentives. He is a recognised expert on sporting rates. Calum is principally based in our Perth office and in addition to attending to energy matters he heads up the Commercial Property Department within this office. The department provides a range of agency, consultancy and professional services to private clients across the various commercial property sectors.
Charlotte joined Galbraith in August 2013. Based in the Stirling office she works in rural management primarily at Caledonian Estate, north of Glasgow and Elderslie Estate in Renfrewshire.
Chris is based in our Stirling office and leads the Rural Team in central Scotland. A specialist in urban fringe estates and involved in management and consultancy on several Scottish islands. Chris also has extensive experience in negotiating land deals with developers. These include Option Agreements and Joint Ventures. He runs his own farm in Fife.
Chris is based in our Stirling office as part of our Rural Client Accountants team and manages a portfolio of rural clients. He is responsible for the management of all aspects of financial reporting, VAT and payroll for those clients.
Christian undertakes management on Highland Estates with diverse employment, residential property, sporting, renewable energy and diversification footprints. Being a Registered Valuer and fulfilling regular compensation work completes a broad skill set.
Claire has worked in Inverness since 2010, having joined Galbraith as a graduate and qualified as a rural chartered surveyor in 2012. She is involved in the management of a number of Highland estates as well as carrying out a wide range of valuation and professional consultancy work.
Claire joined Galbraith in 2017 as a Graduate and qualified as a Chartered Rural Surveyor in October 2019. She is part of the Rural team based in our Castle Douglas Office and is involved in estate management, valuation and a wide range of professional consultancy work.
Colin has considerable expertise in a wide range of rural topics including farm and estate management, valuation and agricultural law matters. He is a member of the Rural, Valuation and Dispute Resolution Faculties of the RICS and acts regularly as an expert witness. In addition to an in-depth knowledge of agriculture, Colin has experience and an interest in sporting matters and is involved in the management of agricultural and sporting properties. Colin has qualifications in agriculture and is a rural Chartered Surveyor.
David’s primary responsibility is for sales and valuation work in Dumfries and Galloway, where he has worked since 2010, in a wide range of property types. He manages the Castle Douglas office and carries out Agricultural valuation work for a number of Banks, including the AMC for whom he is an introducer.
Debbie joined Galbraith in 2019 and is based in our Edinburgh Office. A senior planning professional, she brings 30 years of experience in a wide range of roles and has previously been a board member of The National Trust for Scotland. Debbie is a qualified historic buildings professional and is responsible for providing guidance and advice to a range of clients as well as supporting the growth of the firm’s planning services.
Deirdre joined Galbraith in January 2013. Her expertise lies in management of traditional rural estates, with a particular interest in sporting enterprises. Deirdre belongs to Inverness-shire where her parents farm.
Denis has over 20 years of professional experience in forestry in Scotland, in both the private and regulatory sector. He has a wealth of experience in the appraisal of forests for commercial investment and amenity, and is heavily involved in woodland creation for clients, as well as overseeing the planning and management of harvesting contracts. Denis is an experienced negotiator in relation to EIA conditions, mitigation arrangements, and legal agreements for a range of forestry and renewables activities.
Dominic has worked as an estate agent since 2000 and covers residential and rural sales in Fife and Angus. Dominic was educated at Dundee High School and St Andrews University and completed a Masters in Land Economy at Aberdeen University in 1999. Prior to this he was involved in his family's farming and holiday home business in North-East Fife.
Based in the Inverness office, Dougal is primarily involved in a wide variety of rural estate management roles, ranging from clients with lowland urban fringe properties to traditional highland sporting estates. In addition Dougal is involved with professional consultancy and valuation instructions in the Highland area. Having previously trained with and worked for Buccleuch Estates for seven years he then joined the firm in 2003 initially dealing with commercial property management.
Duncan is based within the National Farm Sales Centre, Stirling covering a wide range of rural property across the country. He also forms part of Rural Management Department and is involved in a variety of management, consultancy, and valuation work. He joined Galbraith in 2006 and qualified as a Member of RICS Rural Faculty in November 2008. A farmer’s son from the Borders, Duncan has strong connections within the farming fraternity.
Emma is head of the Agency Department in the Perth Office where she has worked for most of her career and covers Perthshire, Kinross-shire and Angus specialising in sales, purchases and valuations of rural property, country houses, farms and estates..
Emma is based in our Stirling office as part of our Rural Client Accountants team and manages a portfolio of rural clients. She is responsible for the management of all aspects of financial reporting, VAT and payroll for those clients.
Fiona is part of the Sales team in our Ayr office and a member of the National Association of Estate Agents. She has always had an interest in the property market, having worked previously in lettings, as well as buying and selling properties after upgrading and renovating them.
Frances first started working in residential Estate Agency in the Scottish Borders in 1992. She has over eighteen years experience in all aspects of residential property sales.
Gareth joined Galbraith in 2012 and is part of the Rural and Energy Team based in Edinburgh. He undertakes a wide-range of renewable, rural consultancy and valuation work across Scotland and is a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers as well as a RICS Registered Valuer.
Geoff is the Letting Manager in our Cupar office. He started working in Estate Management in 2006 after completing a Masters in Land Economy at Aberdeen University and has gained a vast amount of experience in rural lettings through the managing of estates across Aberdeenshire.
George joined Galbraith in 2017 and is based in the Edinburgh office. Previously he ran his own practice in Kenya focusing on the educational sector and private residential projects and worked for Knight Frank in Hungerford prior to this.
Gilda joined Galbraith in 2015 and is part of the Rural Team based in Ayr. She carries out a variety of management work, assists with a range of professional and rural consultancy work.
Grace joined Galbraith in 2018 as a Wayleave Officer in the Perth office. Grace is primarily involved in securing wayleave consents, land referencing and compensation claims.
Hamish runs the Forestry Department in our Perth office providing all aspects of forest management, grant applications and valuations. Hamish started working for Galbraith in Inverness in 1994 and moved to Perth in 2002. Hamish previously spent seven years as the resident forestry manager on Alvie Estate in Speyside.
Hannah heads up the Estate Agency team in our Aberdeen office. She has over seventeen years of experience in of the Aberdeenshire property market. She joined Galbraith in 2015. Hannah is a qualified member of the National Association of Estate Agents.
Harry is part of the rural management team in Galashiels and is involved in the sale and valuation of farms and country property. He is also involved with our renewable energy team, primarily covering wind together with other alternative energy projects.
Harry is involved in a wide range of commercial property including: commercial and development land agency; new build agency; valuations; professional and planning work throughout Scotland. He joined Galbraith having previously worked in commercial property in London and residential agency in Scotland.
Heather joined the Galbraith Hexham office in November 2019. She is a seasoned estate agent with a passion for selling houses and over 35 years of experience. She is part of our residential sales team specialising in the sale of rural and residential property covering house sales from coast to coast, Cumbria and south from the Scottish Border into North Yorkshire.
Hugo joined Land Factor in 1997 which merged with Galbraith in 2019. He works as a Land Agent from our Hexham office, carrying out estate management and professional work throughout the North-East of England. He has been successful in crystallising a wide range of opportunities in development, telecoms and renewable energy for his clients, and is currently chairman of Tyne Rivers Trust”.
Iain Russell is Chairman of Galbraith. Based in our Edinburgh office Iain provides wide-ranging consultancy, management and valuation advice throughout our business and specialises in advising clients including estates, farms, private companies and individuals on a broad range of strategic issues.
Ian is Head of the Galbraith Rural Department which serves a diverse range of clients from major companies to private individuals seeking advice and management of their rural properties. He carries out a range of professional work across the country, providing farm and estate consultancy, valuations and management of contract farming agreements. As well as being an AMC Agent, he also carries out farm and estate sales throughout Scotland.
Isla joined Galbraith in September 2016 based in the Aberdeen office working within the rural team and qualified as a chartered surveyor in November 2018. She is involved in sales and valuation work along with rural consultancy and property management
Jack joined our Castle Douglas office in August 2018 and working within both the Rural, and Residential Sales teams. Currently working on Bute he is involved in all aspects of the management of the Mount Stuart Trust, working as the Estate Manager and furthering his experience towards becoming a fully qualified Rural Surveyor. He is working towards his APC and has been involved in property sales and lettings across Dumfries and Galloway, as well as assisting with a wide range of valuation and professional consultancy work.
Jacob is a recently graduated member of the Inverness Forestry Team, and is currently undertaking the Honors Programme at the Scottish Forestry College. He has been working in the forest industry for 5 years with a background in surveying, mensuration and forestry mapping.
Jake joined Galbraith in 2019 and is based in our Ayr office. He is a fully qualified chartered surveyor having achieved his membership to RICS in 2018. He specialises in the sales of both rural and residential properties in Ayrshire and the surrounding counties.
James is a member of our Rural team based in the Stirling office. Working throughout Central Scotland, he is involved in management, access and compensation, valuation, land use negotiation, as well as carrying out a wide range of professional consultancy work.
James has practiced in Edinburgh for most of his career advising clients on all aspects of rural estate management, residential property and commercial property investment. Specialist areas in which he practices include agricultural holdings law, the valuation of rural property, forestry, inheritance tax planning and portfolio property investment. He is a partner in a family farming business in the Scottish Borders and is responsible for the firm's Borders offices.
James joined Galbraith in 2014 and is a member of the Stirling Building Surveying Team. With 8 years’ experience in both residential and commercial sectors of building surveying, he has worked at GLM and Thomas and Adamson.
James joined Galbraith in June 2016. He undertakes various commercial and rural projects throughout Scotland as well as a full range of professional building surveying services.
Jamie joined Galbraith in 2016 and is part of the commercial investment team. He is involved in all areas of commercial investment within the retail, office and industrial sectors. He acts for a broad range of private and institutional clients throughout Scotland. He passed the Investment Management Certificate in 2017 and became of member of the RICS in 2018.
Jamie joined Galbraith in 2017 and is a partner in the Commercial Investment Team. He has an in depth knowledge of the UK commercial property investment market and has been involved in numerous significant transactions throughout his career. He has a strong track record as a multi-sector advisor, dealing with individual assets and portfolios throughout the UK.
Jason is based in our Stirling office, where he helps assists Emma Dennehy with a portfolio of rural clients, and has sole responsibility of his own smaller portfolio. He is responsible for the management of all aspects of financial reporting, VAT and payroll for those clients.
Jay has been with Galbraith since 2003. She heads up the Letting Department and is a Member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents providing a comprehensive service for landlords and tenants in the Perthshire area. She is qualified with the highest industry qualification delivered by the ARLA Propertymark.
Jay joined Galbraith in 2018 and is based in our Edinburgh office. He brings with him previous experience of public sector planning having dealt with a diverse range of rural, commercial and residential projects. Jay will provide guidance and advice to a range of clients as well as support the growth of the firm’s planning services.
Jennifer joined the Edinburgh office in 2016 after graduating from Scotland's Rural College with a First Class Honours Degree in Rural Business Management. She qualified as a Chartered Rural Surveyor in October 2018. She is involved in a wide range of valuation and professional consultancy across the Scottish Borders and Lothians as well as assisting with estate management.
Joanne joined Galbraith in April 2018 and is based in our Edinburgh office. She brings over 15 years of planning consultancy experience to Galbraith where she is responsible for providing guidance and advice to a range of clients as well as supporting the growth of the firm’s planning services.
John is based in the Inverness office where he has practiced for most of his career. He is head of the Estate Agency Department in the north, specialising in the buying and selling farms, estates and country houses. He also undertakes estate management and rural valuation work.
John joined Galbraith in 2018 as a Project Manager and is based in the Inverness Office. As a Chartered Engineer with 20 years of experience he manages large scale building construction projects and infrastructure installations throughout Scotland. John has previously managed the construction of commercial buildings, bridge and track works to support forestry operations, estate wide electrification projects and numerous hydro schemes.
Joyce is Applicant Manager and front of house at the Castle Douglas office. She plays a key part in the registering and contact of buyers and clients on a daily basis.
Juliette joined the Inverness Building Surveying and Architectural Department in 2014. Her career in Architectural Design spans 12 years, predominately involved in the conservation and restoration of historic buildings at the design stage and throughout the project management.
Katherine Imlay joined Galbraith in 2018 as a Wayleave Officer in the Perth office. Katherine is involved in wayleaving consents, land referencing and compensation claims.
Laura is an experienced professional Agent, with a previous career in sales and having worked in demanding customer facing environment roles, Laura is able to offer clients a bespoke and client focused service to facilitate their sale from start to finish.
Laurie is based in our Stirling office, where she manages our Rural Client Accounting department. She is responsible for the management of all aspects of our clients financial reporting, VAT and payroll.
Linda joined Galbraith in 2013 to work in the Farm Sales Team in the Stirling office and is now PA to Duncan Barrie and Simon Brown. Working closely with the agency team, she deals with telephone enquiries and viewing requests, liaising with clients and buyers on a daily basis.
Louise is based in the Inverness office, providing advice on all woodland management issues with a particular emphasis on Long Term Forest planning and specialist tree surveys. Louise has been working in the Highlands forestry industry for over 8 years and joined Galbraith in 2015.
Lucie joined Galbraith in 2012 and qualified in 2014. She works as a Land Agent in the Rural department at the Perth office and is involved in estate management, rural consultancy, valuation and property management work.
Maggie has worked in lettings for over 12 years and joined Galbraith in 2010. She is the receptionist in the Ayr office and deals with lettings enquiries, arranges viewings and keeps in touch with landlords providing them with feedback on the viewings of their properties.
Mairi joined Galbraith in September 2019 as a Graduate Rural Surveyor. She is based in the Ayr Office and is working towards her APC and is involved in a wide range of valuations and professional consultancy work alongside estate management. Mairi is a graduate of Scotland’s Rural College with a honours degree in Rural Business Management.
Marion is an Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a RICS Registered Valuer and a member of the National Association of Estate Agents. With experience in the Scottish conveyancing system, she is able to guide clients through the legal process. She has been with the firm since 2007.
Marjory began her career seventeen years ago in the Ayr office of what was then Cluttons, later to become Galbraith. She deals with property management, rent arrears, gas and electric safety checks, end of tenancies and release of tenants deposits.
Mark joined Land Factor in 2011 which merged with Galbraith in 2019. He works as a Land Agent within our Hexham Office and carries out a wide range of professional and management work on rural properties across the North of England.
Martin joined Galbraith in 2008 and is the partner in charge of Building Surveying. With over 20 years experience of both residential and commercial sectors of building surveying, he previously worked with CB Richard Ellis and Kilmartin Property Group. He provides the full range of building surveying services including project management, development monitoring and professional building surveying services for a wide range of clients.
Martin joined the rural department of Galbraith in 2019 and is based in the Perth and Cupar offices. He previously worked for a Farm Business Consultancy firm for 6 years. He will be involved in management and agricultural consultancy work and is an accredited farm advisor through FBASS and was brought up on a livestock farm outside of Cupar in Fife.
Matthew joined Land Factor in 2014 which merged with Galbraith in 2019. Working throughout North East of England from our Blagdon office he is managing agent for two large estates in Northumberland. This includes works associated with residential, commercial and agricultural tenancies, in-hand farming operations, forestry and negotiating third party access on to land.
Mike runs the Cupar Office and is Head of the Energy Division. With over 25 years experience Mike carries out a range of professional and management work on rural properties in central Scotland and the North of England. Mike also is a specialist in telecommunications, wind farm and compulsory purchase work.
Mike is based in our Edinburgh office and is mainly involved in estate management throughout East Lothian, the Borders and Lanarkshire. Mike is a farmer's son and has been with Galbraith for in excess of 30 years.
Mungo works for the Sporting Lets department and has extensive practical experience of both Scottish and foreign fieldsports combined with a background in commercial property. Mungo specialises in sporting lettings with an active input in all matters pertaining to Scottish sport.
Neil joined Galbraith in 2011 and was based in the central belt until 2016 when he moved to our Inverness office. He has experience of managing city fringe and Highland Estates and undertakes all aspects of professional consultancy work such as negotiations and estate management, with a particular interest in fishery management and agriculture.
Niall sells country houses, farms and estates and undertakes valuation work across Argyll and the Isles. In additional to his consultancy role with Galbraith he is the owner of Torrisdale Estate, Carradale, where he resides.
Nick is based in our Stirling office, where he helps assists Yvonne Buchanan with a portfolio of rural clients. He is responsible for the processing of all aspects of financial book keeping, VAT and payroll for those clients. Nick is also responsible for the accounts processing of our Lettings department
Nick carries out the full scope of wayleave work including securing wayleave permissions and any statutory consents for new electricity cable and/or Tower routes, refurbishment and replacement of existing Towers, crop compensation claims and GIS related mapping services.
Nicky handles residential Estate Agency and property sales on the West Coast around Oban and in Argyll. Experienced in the local market, Nicky has helped several Oban based firms build their property portfolios from scratch.
Nicola joined Galbraith in 2017 and is based in our Edinburgh office. Nicola works within the commercial team specialising in rating for commercial properties and also providing planning guidance and advice to a range of clients.
Pamela is the Partner in charge of Commercial Property Asset Management, based in our Edinburgh office and working for clients throughout the UK. She specialises in the full range of Asset Management and Consultancy services across all the commercial sectors.

Pam is Chief Executive of Galbraith and is part of the firm's Commercial team. Based in the Edinburgh office she has over 30 years' experience of commercial property specialising in asset management and development for a wide range of clients. She has the breadth of experience to take projects from conception through to completion.
Paul works primarily with clients in central and southern Scotland. With 17 years experience, he has successfully planned and implemented timber harvesting and woodland establishment operations in a wide range of scenarios including mixed estates, upland plantations and native woodlands. He joined the forestry department in 2015.
Peter joined Land Factor in 1998 which merged with Galbraith in 2019. He works as a Partner within our Hexham and Blagdon Office. Working throughout the North East of England he specialises in estate management, rural commercial property and deal negotiation.
Peter joined Galbraith in 2010 when he returned to Scotland after working for GVA Grimley in London. He predominantly undertakes commercial projects and professional work throughout Scotland and England. With a working knowledge of rural property through his family farm in the Borders. Peter also covers some rural and residential Building Surveying work.
Phiddy handles the sale of town and rural properties in Inverness and Inverness-shire. She previously worked for a national home search company and is a member of the NAEA. Phiddy joined Galbraith in 2005. She worked part-time between 2008 and 2011 to care for her young family.
Philippa joined Galbraith as a graduate in 2017 after graduating from The University of Aberdeen with a Distinction in Land Economy. Philippa qualified as a Chartered Rural Surveyor in October 2019. Philippa is involved in management and utilities, as well as carrying out a range of valuation and professional consultancy work.
Polly handles property sales from our Galashiels office. An experienced estate agent with knowledge of the Borders and Edinburgh markets, she joined the Galbraith team in September 2015.
Poppy is part of our rural team and is based in Castle Douglas. She has previously worked as assistant factor on the Isle of Bute; in our Stirling office managing a number of estates around Glasgow and with the rural team in our Edinburgh office.
Rachel joined Galbraith as a Rural Surveyor in 2014 and is based in the Cupar office. Rachel is involved in management and utilities, as well as carrying out a wide range of valuation and professional consultancy work.
Rhona deals with all aspects of property management including safety checks, conforming to regulations, contractors, start and end of tenancy paperwork and deposit release.
Richard joined the Rural department of Galbraith in 2016. Based in the Stirling Office, Richard is involved in carrying out valuation work, agricultural consultancy and management work.
Richard heads up the firms Commercial division and works between our Edinburgh and Stirling offices. He and his team provide a range of consultancy, investment, agency and professional services to a wide ranging client base throughout Scotland and the UK. In addition Richard provides planning and consultancy advice on a number of large electricity transmission and renewable infrastructure projects.
Richard joined Galbraith in 2013 after the merger with Hayes MacFarlane and has a thorough understanding of the Scottish property market, with particular focus on the rural property and land market in Perthshire and Angus. Richard can therefore offer clients sound and professional advice relating to a wide range of property matters.
Robert joined Galbraith in 2010 having spent over 30 years in the construction sector working for companies such as Balfour Beatty, Mowlem and design consultants. He oversees various building projects and manages the day-to-day maintenance on a number of our key client property portfolios.
Robert leads Sporting Lets - Galbraith's sporting letting department - from the Perth Office. He has been principally involved in property and fieldsports for over 25 years. Robert specialises in sporting lettings with an active input into the sales and management of sporting estates.
Robert is partner in charge of rural valuations and AMC agency. He is a qualified Auctioneer and Chartered Surveyor with over 25 years working experience in both the rural and commercial property sectors. A past council member of SAAVA and IAAS, he lives and farms in Central Scotland.
Rod joined Galbraith in 2003 and established the estate agency and valuation department in our then Glasgow office before returning home to Moray to open our Elgin office in 2009. He specialises in the sale and valuation of a wide range of property types in addition to other rural professional work. He runs his own farm in Moray.
Roddy joined Land Factor in 2004 which merged with Galbraith in 2019. He works as a Partner within our Hexham Office. Working throughout North-East England, he specialises in rural estate management. Roddy has extensive experience of dealing with development land, and bringing it through the planning process.
Rose joined Galbraith in September 2019 as a Graduate Rural Surveyor in the Castle Douglas Office. She is currently working towards her APC and undertakes a variety of work including valuations and estate management as well as assisting with residential sales in her local area of Wigtownshire. Rose holds an honours degree in Rural Business Management which she studied at Scotland’s Rural College.
Russell joined Land Factor in 1999 which merged with Galbraith in 2019. He works as a Forest Manager within our Penrith Office, working throughout Northern England and Southern Scotland.
Sam joined Galbraith in May 2014 and is one of the key members of our Estate Agency team in Inverness. She has considerable experience in this area of work and acts as a negotiator/property assistant covering sales of residential property, farms and estates.
Samantha has worked with Galbraith in our Ayr since 2013 and has 10 years experience of working in Lettings. She is responsible for the day to day running of the Lettings Department, visiting prospective landlords, lease preparation and is the liaison between prospective tenants and landlords.
Sam joined Galbraith in November 2019 and is Head of Residential Agency in our Hexham office. He is a qualified chartered surveyor with twenty plus years’ experience selling mid to high value houses across the UK. Sam’s varied experience enables him to dissect some of the more complex scenarios and deliver continual results for his clients.
Sarah joined Galbraith in 2016 running the Lettings Department in both the Inverness and Elgin offices covering Moray and Speyside. She is a Member of the Association of Letting Agents and a Member of the National Association of Estate Agents. She is qualified with the highest industry qualification delivered by the ARLA Propertymark.
Scott has a broad and diverse range of experience within the rural and residential property market. Having previously worked in central London, Scott has built up the knowledge and expertise to help clients achieve their objectives.
Sheena is our regional residential representative for Wigtownshire and Stranraer. She has considerable experience and an unrivalled knowledge of the area in which she grew up and now lives and farms.
Shirley is our Lettings Manager. Based in our Stirling office she ensures that the highest professional standards are maintained by our lettings teams across Scotland.
Simon leads the Galbraith rural and residential sales and lettings team. He specialises in the sale, purchase and valuation of farms throughout the country. Based at the National Farm Sales Centre in our Stirling office he has over 30 years' experience in the Scottish farming industry.
Simon joined Galbraith in October 2018 having previously worked at a Commercial Property Consultancy in Glasgow. Simon provides a full range of building surveying services on both commercial and rural properties throughout Scotland.
Stewart joined the rural department of Galbraith in 2019, based in the Aberdeen Office. He worked for SGRPID throughout Scotland for 23 years, latterly heading up the Grampian Area Office. He will be involved in management and agricultural consultancy work. He runs his own arable and livestock farming business on the outskirts of Aberdeen.
Susan is the lettings manager in the Scottish Borders providing a comprehensive service for landlords and tenants. She has 11 years agency experience and is qualified with the highest industry qualification delivered by the Association of Residential Letting Agents’ (ARLA) Propertymark.
Based in our Inverness office, Tim is a member of the Rural Team, providing management services and consulting to a wide range of clients. An Honours graduate in Ecology, he has particular expertise in aquaculture work.
Tom joined Land Factor in 2016 and merged with Galbraith in 2019. He works as a Land Agent within our Hexham Office. Working throughout Northern England and Southern Scotland managing rural estates he also runs the sales department, selling farms and country houses in Northumberland.
Tom is highly experienced in agricultural matters; sporting and landed estate management and rural property issues including estate agency, valuation compensation and managing contract farming agreements. A member of the Rural Arbitration and Valuation Nomination Committee he also undertakes expert witness functions. Tom has qualifications in agriculture and is a rural Chartered Surveyor and qualified Arbiter.
Tom joined Galbraith in April 2019 as a graduate Building Surveyor in the Edinburgh office. Previously he spent 9 years in the Army as a Royal Engineer Officer involved in construction and operations management with experience working in Africa and the Middle East.
Tom joined Land Factor in 1990 which merged with Galbraith in 2019. He works as a Partner within our Hexham Office. Working throughout the North East of England he specialises in estate strategy, tax planning and development agreements.
Trini joined Galbraith in August 2015 and is one of the key members of our Estate Agency team in Inverness. She acts as a negotiator covering sales of residential property, farms and estates.
Vivien is based in the Ayr office and joined Galbraith in 2003. She is a fully qualified member of the National Association of Estate Agents and works in the agency department specialising in the sale of residential and rural properties.
Wattie heads up the Land Agency Department in the Perth office and has over 35 years experience in the Scottish rural property market. He is also involved in general practice work including property valuation and overseeing utility work.
William joined Galbraith in 2007 as the Factor for Islay Estates. In 2016 he was appointed as the Factor at Glamis where he now manages the varied portfolio that makes up Strathmore Estates. This includes residential, commercial and agricultural tenancies, sporting lets, forestry as well as a large in-hand farm and Glamis Castle.
Willie is part of our Forestry team based in Inverness. He has been working in the forestry sector for over 30 years and has extensive experience in grant applications, new planting projects and all aspects of forest management.
Will joined Galbraith in 2017 and is a Partner in the commercial investment team. He has 13 years experience advising institutional investors, banks, property companies and private investors across a range of property assets. Will is one of the most active investment agents within the Scottish industrial market and advises a number of companies on their UK property strategies.
Yvonne is based in our Stirling office as part of our Rural Client Accountants team and she manages a portfolio of rural clients. She is responsible for the management of all aspects of financial reporting, VAT and payroll for those clients.
Yvonne joined the Galashiels office in 2013. She is responsible for the application process from referencing checks to lease signing and liaises between prospective tenants and landlords. She also deals with rent arrears and the remarketing of let properties. Yvonne is qualified with the highest industry qualification delivered by the Association of Residential Letting Agents’ (ARLA) Propertymark.
