We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Forest Manager, with leadership skills, to join our team in Perth.
Salary £38k-£45k DOE
Galbraith is a leading land management firm operating across Scotland and Northern England providing advice on forestry, farm, land and estate interests totaling over 1.5 million hectares.
Your New Role
Galbraith Forestry manages over 30,000 hectares of principally privately owned productive forestry, amenity and estate woodlands and delivers woodland creation schemes of all types up and down the country, ranging from farm woodlands to upland plantations and landscape scale native woodland schemes.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Forest Manager, with leadership skills, to join our team in Perth. The purpose of the role will be to take the lead with a growing portfolio of clients across central Scotland and wider and to take responsibility and ownership for a varied range of work.
In this role, you will be responsible for many aspects of forestry management and woodland creation with which you will already be very familiar and skilled. You will work closely with colleagues across the forestry, rural and wider business streams in Galbraith and have the ability to seek out new opportunities to support existing and new clients.
About You
You will have a very good forestry knowledge and ideally be an ICF member. You must have strong IT skills, including GIS applications in forestry. Excellent communication with colleagues, clients, contractors and stakeholders is essential. Importantly, you will be able to work accurately and efficiently with a focus on delivery and a pro-active approach to solving problems.
A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
