We are looking for an experienced Surveyor to join our busy Rural Team to provide specialist knowledge of rural assets to our clients across Scotland. This role is based in Ayr however travel to other offices and client sites offers great variety day to day.
Galbraith is a diverse multi-disciplinary Firm of Property Consultants with offices across Northern England and Scotland, specialising in the rural, forestry, energy, commercial and residential sectors with a growing presence in the emerging Natural Capital sector.
Your New Role
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for:
- Valuations of all types of property and property related interests for lending, sale, letting, tax planning, rental valuations and negotiations and such other purposes as may be required.
- General property consultancy including planning, wayleaves, sporting rights, access negotiations, diversification project.
- Assisting in the sale and acquisition of farms, estates and rural property as the needs of the business demands.
The Successful Candidate
You will be a MRICS qualified surveyor, who is looking for a new challenge. Highly motivated and a self-starter you will be able to demonstrate a strong ability to develop relationships and promote new business ideas, acting as an ambassador for the firm, promoting its services at all opportunities.
As the role will involve travel and therefore a full driving licence and own vehicle is essential.
