Graduate Building Surveyor

Edinburgh or Stirling

We are looking for a Graduate Building Surveyor to join our growing Building Surveying business stream, with an office base of Stirling or Edinburgh.

Galbraith is a diverse multi-disciplinary Firm of Property Consultants with offices across Northern England and Scotland, specialising in the commercial, rural, forestry, energy, and residential sectors with a growing presence in the emerging Natural Capital sector.

The role will be focused on growing and developing the existing building surveying work across the central belt in addition to supporting and growing current client base. 

Your New Role

This is a great opportunity for a Graduate Building Surveyor to gain valuable skills and experience, working with the Commercial, Rural and other Business Streams to implement and run projects, and other building instructions, on behalf of clients.

The role will also include sourcing instructions from the firm’s management portfolio and ensuring that all client files are managed to meet the firm’s assurance management systems.

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate must be planning to begin, or is currently working towards, their APC qualification.

You will be an effective communicator, with the ability to liaise confidently with colleagues, clients, and contractors, and will have an analytical and pro-active approach to solving problems.

Work experience in the building surveying practice is desirable.

The role will involve travel and therefore a full driving license and own vehicle is essential.
